Alas, Arthur Dent, your little quote is so incredibly appropriate considering what happened on Thursday the 12th.

Two days from a year since I got that new computer. Y'know, the one I ranted about in an older journal entry? Y'know what happens?

It blue-screens. It doesn't just BLUE-SCREEN, it flips me off and DIES. I couldn't even BOOT it. I tried fixing it, returning it to an earlier point in time where it might not have HAD that problem caused by... something. >.> Sheesh; all I did was renew my subscription to my antivirus so it would keep working.

So, after about half an hour of fighting with it, I decide to screw it all and reinstall the OS that came with that computer. I was prepared to mourn various art pieces that I hadn't yet backed up. But what happens?

It won't re-install the OS. At all. I got close, SO CLOSE once, but every time, EVERY TIME, it blue-screens during reinstallation.

What. The. Hell.

Perhaps it's the curse of Vista finally catching up to me, but it's freaky that after at least half a year of perfect behaviour (I.E. no blue-screens, strange errors, or crashes), it decides to flip me off and die.

So, for now, I'm gonna be on my old PC. With Windows 2000. No World of Warcraft. But I get CS2 back, which is a plus. >.>;;

I want my newer computer back....
